RAWHIDE
RANCH
Jamie
Relth
June
2008
>>The
full un-edited version!
Every summer of my youth, my step-sister got to go to Rawhide Ranch. It was
the quintessential dude-ranch-style summer camp where she learned to care for
horses and sheep, bunked in rustic log cabins with girls her age, became part
of a close knit team of summer transients, and escaped completely from our

jealousy.
Now, it seems, I have my dog to envy as well...read

AWAKENING
THE
SPIRIT IN BALI
April
2008
The
two-lane road from Denpasar to Tembok
is choked with tourists and families

place in California to experience the season, and get some requisite shopping
in, than San Francisco... read more. |

MONTEREY
LITERARY TOUR
June
2007
When
we are traveling throughout
California, regardless whether
as a native, transplant, or
tourist, covering the attributes
of this glorious state can
be overwhelming unless one
dissects it county by county.
Otherwise, particularly during
precious weekend travel, we
run the risk of skimming the
surface rather than making
the most of every minute... read
