from the Edna Valley of San Luis Obispo,
California--Baileyana and tangent. Both wineries
are located in the Independence schoolhouse
established in 1909.

Baileyana and tangent wineries are owned by the Niven family who were among the pioneers of the first vineyards planted in the Edna Valley. Thirty-five years of farming our estate vineyards has enabled us to craft wines that embrace the union of viticulture, winemaking, and terroir expression. Visit our tasting room in the historic Independence schoolhouse, where you can try our "Firepeak Vineyard" Baileyana wines, as well as the alternative white wines of tangent. |
