Culinary Carnival

San Luis Obispo county locals gathered at the Embassy Suites Hotel in support of the Prado Day Center—a homeless service center providing meals and assistance to those in need. The fun-filled evening included appetizers from local chefs, an extensive wine and beer tasting area, and a raffle featuring golf, massage, and spa packages. Proceeds from the fundraising event were used to assist with demands of the center including purchasing electric heaters, sleeping bags, meals, and paper goods. The carnival is one of several events Prado puts on throughout the year to raise the necessary $156,000 needed to keep its doors open. To make a donation or volunteer, visit www.pradodaycenter.org
