Pours for Pets

Local dogs and cats benefited from a night of wine and beer tasting during the Monterey St. Wine Co. fundraiser Pouring Wines for Canines and Felines in San Luis Obispo. The North County Humane Society (NCHS) and Animal Shelter Adoption Partners (ASAP) received 40 percent of the proceeds from the event. Humans sampled wine and beer and participated in a silent auction while learning about pet adoption and other care giving options for deserving dogs and cats. The event included a photography exhibit featuring local adoptable and adopted animals by nationally recognized photographer Charlotte Rushton.
