CASA at the Vineyard

An atmosphere of caring settled around Firestone Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley as guests rallied to support the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Santa Barbara County while sampling Firestone wines and Santa Maria-style barbecue. Between snacks and sips, guests learned about CASA and its mission to ensure nurturing, permanent homes for abused and neglected children. CASA protects the best interests of abused, neglected, and abandoned children by providing them with highly-trained volunteers who advocate for them in the court system. Volunteers spend time talking with the child's teachers, caregivers, and therapists in order to provide the courts with accurate information.
