Evening at the
Organic Farm
Cal Poly's Sustainable Agriculture Resource Consortium (SARC) hosted
an organic food and wine tasting event on September 23 rd at the Cal Poly
Organic Farm. The event featured specialty Cal Poly wines, cheeses, fruits,
vegetables, and chocolates, as well as an heirloom tomato tasting. Guests
were given a tour of the organic garden and also had the opportunity to
speak with educators in crop science, organic farming, and sustainable
practices. The event helped build awareness and enthusiasm about the SARC
programs, goals, and fundraising events.
